Prosthetics Designed for You
Over time, the focus in prosthetic care has often shifted toward showcasing the most advanced and complex prosthetic designs—particularly in hand and upper-limb systems. While technological innovation is exciting, the most appropriate prosthetic solution isn’t always the most high-tech or costly option. At POA, we believe the right device is the one that best supports each patient’s individual lifestyle—whether that means returning to school, thriving in the workplace, or enjoying time with family and friends.
This personalized, goal-oriented approach is the heart of our philosophy. We treat each person as an individual—not a diagnosis—through a comprehensive evaluation process that includes both clinical and therapeutic insights. By understanding your goals, daily activities, and specific challenges before any device is designed, we ensure the end result is tailored for your success.
Once we have this full picture, our skilled team of prosthetists, therapists, and technicians works collaboratively to craft a prosthesis that is custom-designed and fabricated just for you. There are no one-size-fits-all solutions here—only devices built to fit your life, not the other way around.
At POA, our mission is simple: to provide thoughtful, individualized care that empowers each patient to live confidently and independently.
Utilizing CAD/CAM Technology
At POA, our clinical and fabrication teams are dedicated to delivering precision and efficiency through the integration of advanced CAD/CAM technologies. We begin the process by capturing a highly accurate digital model of the limb using state-of-the-art scanners such as the Comb or Artec, ensuring a clean and reliable starting point for design.
From there, we utilize a variety of specialized design tools—including Orten3DCAM and FlySHAPE by Proteor, Geomagic Freeform, Autodesk Fusion 360, Rhinoceros 3D, and HP Fusion Printing. Our in-house 3D printing capabilities, powered by equipment like Filament Innovations Icarus and Bambu 3D Printers, allow for rapid prototyping and custom fabrication.
The result is a streamlined, repeatable process that enhances fit accuracy while reducing production time. This allows our team to focus more of our energy where it matters most—helping you achieve your mobility goals with a personalized, well-crafted prosthetic solution.

At POA, we have the ability to design and fabricate precise, custom prosthetic components using our in-house, state-of-the-art 3D printing technology.
