Oleg Tcherkassov, MD, CP

Dr. Tcherkassov was the Chief of Surgery at the Central Research Institute for Prosthetics when his association with our company began in 1994. A graduate of Riazan Medical Institute in 1976, he had also worked as a general surgeon and orthopedic surgeon at regional hospitals in Russia, including the Moscow Regional Clinical Hospital. Prior to beginning his work with amputees, his early area of specialization was in neurosurgery and neurotraumatology. The combination of his extensive academic background and experience as a practicing physician and surgeon add an invaluable perspective to the treatment of all of our patients.
