Laura Klebanow, CP, Clinical Liaison

With deep roots in the Hudson Valley / Catskill Region, Laura's desire was to serve her residency requirements and begin her career serving her hometown community. In 2001, Laura furthered her education by attending the University of Rochester's Biomedical Engineering program graduating in 2005 with a concentration in Mechanics. During her time at the University of Rochester, her group's senior design project was awarded first place by the National Rehabilitation Engineering Research Center for the design of a stationary exercise bike for individuals with various disabilities. In addition, she also participated in the University's Take 5 program, where she spent a semester in Florence, Italy studying the Language of the Body through Art. Through her sister's involvement in the physical therapy field, Laura decided to pursue a career in orthotics and prosthetics. During the summers of 2003 and 2004, Laura was a clinical intern at P&O Associates. She was then accepted in the prosthetics program at Northwestern University, graduating in 2005, and completed her residency at P&O Associates in 2006.
